Kirby Sports Center, Recreation Center, Maroon Club Strength Center
These buildings will serve as the primary debate locations. Building access will be unavailable as of Aug. 26. Normal building operations will resume on Sept. 30. Alternative locations are being identified for Athletics and Recreation Services and will be shared with the campus community as plans are finalized.
Fisher Stadium
Access to the stadium and field will be restricted as of Sept. 15. It is anticipated that normal operations for the stadium and field will resume Oct. 4 following field maintenance.
Pfenning Alumni Center
Portions of the building will be used approximately two weeks prior to the debate. Building access will be limited Sept. 16-26.
Oechsle Hall
While academic activities will be unaffected, a few spaces will be offline for the purposes of the debate.
The Quad
Lafayette College sponsored events will take place on The Quad throughout the week prior to and during the debate. These events will include a live broadcast of the debate on a large video board, to which all are welcome.
Marquis Hall
Special events will be held in the Bergethon Room leading up to and during the debate. Alternative dining arrangements will be announced as plans are finalized.
Plaza in front of Williams Center for the Arts
The plaza in front of Williams Center for the Arts will be transformed into an area for events, educational opportunities, and speeches.
Markle Parking Deck
Parking will be restricted approximately 7-10 days prior to the debate. Alternative parking locations will be announced.
901 Bushkill Parking Lot
Parking will be restricted approximately 7-10 days prior to the debate. Alternative parking locations will be announced.
Hamilton and Pierce Streets
Vehicle and pedestrian access will be limited at times from Aug. 25 through Sept. 29. Street closures will be communicated in advance.
